a Lesson in the Labyrinth

I watched one of my favorite childhood movies today, The Labyrinth.
God has spoken to me many times through childrens movies, and today, He did it again.

Sarah (me): Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City... for my will is as strong as yours, and my...
Jareth (satan): Stop! Wait! Look Sarah, look what I am offering you... your dreams!
Sarah (me): And my kingdom as great...
Jareth (satan): I ask for so little.... Just let me rule you and you can have everything that you want! Just fear me, love me, do as I say, and I will be your slave!
Sarah (me): My kingdom as great... My kingdom as great...You have no power over me.... you have no power over me!
I cried.....and thanked the Lord for all He's saved me from.

  2. Jareth: Turn back Sarah....turn back before it's too late...

    Sarah: I can't...don't you understand that I can't!

Jareth: what a pity...you have 13 hours in which to solve the labyrinth, before your baby brother becomes one of us forever!
    What a pity...

(How the enemy wants us to stop walking forward. To try to INTIMIDATE us from what lies ahead. Come to really think of it and this movie, there are many parables in this! The labyrinth is full of illusions and traps, deceptions, bribes and temptations...
How Sarah along the way, sees the good in those she meets and finds comfort in her travelling buddies.
How treating Hoggle as if he were good willed, it actually turns him to the good in the end.
LOL....even how Luddo calls the "rocks" at the end!...
I think I want to watch the movie now!
