Fashion Crisis 101

What is with the jean styles now? So low rise that your butt crack shows? Or nevermind, what about the jeans you can buy that have the holes already built in? Forget about getting your jeans dirty, because you can now also buy pre-dirty jeans. Has everyone gone nuts? We are in a fashion crisis people! Look around you, people are actually spending good money, on dirty, torn, ripped up jeans, that sit so low on your body that I'm surprised they even stay up. So, where are sane girls like myself supposed to find a decent pair of jeans, remembering that I would prefer to remain young and hip for at least a few more years........ :)

My answer for any fashion crisis is Reitmans. That's it. It's the perfect store. I walk in there, always find something I like and usually have to restrain myself from spending too much money. But seriously, they usually have pretty neat and tidy clothing there. Nothing too funky (at least not in my size) but very sophisticated.

  2. well, my dear, I am allowed to buy myself an outfit now as a reward. For the first time in a long time, I'm actually looking forward to it. Maybe we could go together?
    Or am I too old????

  3. I have no idea what these look like but I keep hearing that Aura (don't know if that's spelled right) are an incredibly good fitting jean in a huge range of sizes - I think available at Claypool's or Bronco's - apparently Oprah really liked 'em...me, I'm a 'beggars can't be choosers' shopper at the moment and am wearing those unsightly panel jeans that come up to your boobs...how many more months of that? oh well, I shall not complain, at least my butt crack isn't showing :)

  6. I know this girl in fashion school, whi will one day very soon, maybe even right now, have her own clothing line/ seamstress what you want. If you have needs just talk to her and may be she could hook you up. Oriol is great and she may be able to help. Her services will cost money, but you wil get great quality with a modest hip look.

  9. My motto is "If it feels good wear it"...except the shiny white velcro runners that two ladies laughed uncontrollably at that I have since threw away. :)
Oh btw I posted. PLZ check it out as it is regarding transformations and I am trusting that God has encouraged me to post it.
    Enjoy your pursuit of fashions.
