It's started!
All ready!
My daughter and I got to go shopping for school supplies just the two of us, and she got to pick whatever she wanted (assuming it was on her list). She chose a Strawberry Shortcake theme. I looked back at the times I went school shopping when I was little, and since we had very little money, I was never able to get the nice book bag or brand name supplies. It was such a blessing to be able to bless my daughter, and not seeing the burden of not having enough money on her that I'm sure my parents hated seeing on me growing up.
The #1 breakfast of champions, blueberry PopTarts.
Fourth day of Grade 1
My daughter sighed after this picture, so I reassured her I wouldn't take pictures forever. She sighed again and asked what grade she would be in by then.
oh my gosh, her auntie here is crying......sob sob....
ReplyDeleteher confidence is so adorable. she's such a jonah. I have this super smile on my face, a permagrin....
I love her so much. She is an amazing amazing kid! LOLOL to you having to explain that you wouldn't take her pic forever!!
I see the pan at the shoes again in the 5th day snicker
I love how God has given each of us a different destiny. that "there is only one person like you in all of this great big world and you are just who god made you to be, whether a boy or a girl.....there is only one who loves you more...He is your Father in heaven...."
There was that neighbour that just assumed that you homeschooled just becuase I did, and it was refreshing to hear you say that Jonah is in school, becuase it's where SHE needs to be. Her in that backpack, her on that bus, I couldn't see it any other way. Am I making any sense, of am I just being a blubbering auntie at 11:15 pm and need sleep?
did i mention that she is in tip top shape when it comes to style?? she is very hip!
